last time i was here was 2003 christmas. great fun, i stayed for a month. but this time 1 week. definitely not enough, anyway i did wat i came back to do and am very glad that i had this trip. In general, this trip is not as meaningful compared to e last, since it was christmas and there was this great gathering at bobo's. we kids exchanged presents and i got a blue thermos flask. i gave it to my mom.
This yr, everybody is either busy working or looking for jobs. Can't keep studying the whole time, right. i get to see less of them, but all e more precious when i can spend some quality time with my frens now. Just having dinner and playing with the Pentax camera i bought in 03' christmas together with wildpig and lolam, or just chilling out having a traditional hk dessert in e middle of e night with fred and pk yan. We mostly meet at night and it stretches till late, so ppl do strange things.
Posing around on the streets late in e night is kinda interesting, i almost never got the chance to do tat in sg.
One of those days we went to relive the days in arcade. But i only get to play a bit. without practice, u'll notice how fast ur 'skills' drop till Gap can kill me within 30secs on this game. Shit.
There's this place called the Cat's Home where they have cats wandering ard the cafe in CWB. many frens like e atmos there. and the cats. They're ususally just lying around trying to sleep when goons stroke em and pat em and give em huggies every half a minute when they walk pass. Hard work even for cats huh.
Ofcos i saved some time for my family too. Went to a popular Cha Lau in central MK to yum cha. Steph came with me too. Isn't that "meet the parents"? My bro looks more and more like me when i was 10. This is crazy. He's like 14 yrs younger than me. As for mom, well, she's still the same. Wish she don't have to work as hard and can take a rest to enjoy more of life which she used to do.
One of the objectives of my visit is Shaun. He was unfortunate enough to have cancer when he's just about to begin his wonderful and properous career. But now, as in November, he's done a transplant, and is healing fast. His company even lets him retain his job! So he will still keep his job even he has to rest like a yr and a half. That is fortunate. He's a tough hombre. Shaun won't be struck down by anything and has his own set of principles. He's that kinda person since i knew him from primary school.
Dom changed a bit this time i see him. He may look like "that", but he's the "Managing Director" of a marketing company founded by him and his bunch of frens. Heard tat he's the one doing all the stuff. Hope ur company prosper! Million Yrs old Million Yrs old Million Million Yrs old...That's what i heard from him this time round.
Shopping with Lui2 for stuff in apm. It operates round the clock and is new! Another place to hang out for us night owls. We come across this shop 80/20. Selling US army surplus material from WW1 & WW2 and fashion gear. I almost bought their wallet. Almost. Found this Freddy's claw somewhere. Bought it for fun. See? Along the way we came to this really big show box. Snapped it too. And we wanted to look like tourists, did the right thing. Standing next to the MTR route.
And if anyone tot mom dun like to play...
Visited Yee Po and Yee Gong in Yuen Long too... They have been very dear to me and my family all these yrs. We're very close.

My little cousin is getting more and more pretty and mature looking. but she's younger than my bro! How gals grow these days...
